Masasa Beach, an extraordinary beauty

Masasa Beach is a hidden jewel, stashed away from the reluctant eye of weekend warriors from Manila. But something this precious is hard to keep secret. As soon as word got out, tourists came in droves, rattling what used to be a dormant town. Masasa Beach is arguably the best beach in Tingloy, the only municipality in Batangas that is not on mainland Luzon. Its main island is the fish-shaped Maricaban, off the tip of Calumpang Peninsula separating Balayan Bay from Batangas Bay.

3 reasons why Masasa Beach is a must visit place

3.Best island experience.

You can choose from transients, kubos, and tents for accommodations . There are no fancy resorts here. You truly get a preview of island life. It means no wild parties at night, no bars, restaurants, and fancy amenities but only the island experience at its best. This island only offers you the sun, sand, and sea in all its untouched grandeur.

2.Activities are abundant.

By a lot of activities, it does not mean that these are the banana-shaped inflated balloons that boats drag around costing thousands of pesos, nor about the jet skiing or those water activities that all other beaches have in common. Masasa beach is different from the rest. From hiking to the so-called “Mag-asawang Bato,” natural pools, cliff jumping at the Tawil Rock, beautiful rock formations, camping, snorkeling, island hopping, kayaking and so much more, Masasa beach is so proud of natural attractions that are all worth the visit.

1.It has hospitable islanders.

The amount of hospitality the people show is something that would make one want to come back or even never leave. If you’re looking for the best place to stay, check out Nanay Rosie’s—they are excellent at making their customers satisfied and at home.
